1. Who we are

The website www.emd.ma is published by EU Medical Distribution (EMD), a company based in Casablanca, Morocco. EMD is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. Contact: contact@emd.ma.

2. Data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide:

• through the order form: full name, email address, phone number, country, city, delivery address and postal code, quantity ordered, notes;
• through the contact form: name, email address, company (optional) and message.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Your data is used to: process and deliver your order and contact you about it (performance of a contract); answer your inquiries (legitimate interest or pre-contractual steps); comply with our legal, accounting and tax obligations. We do not use your data for marketing without your consent.

4. Recipients

Your data is accessible only to authorized persons at EMD and, where necessary to fulfil your order, to our service providers: carriers and delivery services, the website hosting provider and the email provider. We do not sell your data.

5. International transfers

As EMD is based in Morocco and delivers internationally, your data may be processed in Morocco and sent to the country of delivery, to the extent necessary to deliver your order.

6. Retention

Your data is kept for as long as needed to process your order or request, then for the applicable legal periods (including accounting and tax), before being deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

Under the applicable regulations (including Moroccan Law No. 09-08 and, for residents of the European Union, the GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of your data and, where applicable, to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@emd.ma stating your request. You may also contact the data protection authority of your country (in Morocco, the CNDP).

8. Cookies, advertising pixels and local storage

By default, this site uses no advertising cookies or analytics trackers. It only stores, in your browser, your language choice (FR/EN/DE/AR) and your cookie choice.

Only with your consent, we may enable Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited), the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and the TikTok pixel (TikTok Technology Limited) to measure site traffic, how effective our ads are and to improve them. These tools may collect technical information (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and the actions taken on the site (viewing a product, sending an order or a message). This data may be processed outside your country, including outside the European Union or Morocco. You can decline or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.

9. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. As no system is completely infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
